Monat Hair Products Review
Before I tried Monat products, I already thought they were terrible. I had heard bad things, so I assumed that it must be true. On top of it, I was approached time and time again by women who were selling Monat. Each of them tried to get me to use Monat and they all sang it’s praises, but I was not interested, I will say that I have never been a fan of being aggressively sold anything in my life. Wasn’t then, still am not today. I just assumed it was junk because so many people were trying to sell me on it.
My Monat hair products review would have been a bit different if I wrote it then, (before I tried it that is) Things changed when I became genuinely curious about the products. A friend of mine with whom I competed in a fitness federation started using Monat products and sharing her results, and they were stunning. Over the course of a year her hair went from dull and sparse, to long and shiny. Not only did she use the Monat products, she picked up quite a few habits that led to her longer, healthier hair.
After seeing her progress, I decided to contact her and ask if she thought that any of the products might work for me. We talked about which products did not use fragrance, or had very little. I started with just a few products, and gradually added more and more products to my collection. I never expected to like Monat products as much as I have, and was surprised by the results I got after using them for 8 months. Do I think that Monat is the cleanest hair product company I have ever used? No I do not. That said, I find their products high quality and effective, and lower tox than many conventional products that are on the market. As someone that has been in the hair and beauty industry for over two decades, I need something that works. I used the cleanest of the clean brands, and they left my hair dry and dull. I needed something in the middle.
Here are some of my all time favorite Monat hair products. For thickening, reducing hair fall and growing longer hair overall I love The IR Clinical set. Owning a hair salon for years, I was able to test out so many different bond building treatments, and I still get my professional discount….but none have matched the effectiveness of this little blue bottle. Monat has been just that for me. Effective, versatile and lower tox. I like many of their products, but have also purchased some that I did not like for various reasons. I put together a YouTube video talking about what I use, and how I use it.
