Organic Robes
I remember a time where I didn’t give a thought to how, where, or what my clothing was made with. To be honest, looking back it was a carefree time. I remember buying clothing and wearing things right away before I washed them, not understanding the various ways that convention clothing items may have been treated with chemicals. These days, I am far more choosy and selective when I buy an item of clothing. Instead of pulling up something on the internet and quickly buying it without doing research, I make sure that I am buying the best version of that item that I can. Also many conventional robes look nice, and feel fluffy and soft, many contain synthetic materials which can deposit chemicals into your environment, or even worse, your body:( I know when I was searching for e new bathrobe that I wanted something soft, natural and flattering. After all, my husband tends to see me wearing organic robes in the morning.
When I started looking online at Organic Robes I was overwhelmed. I was tempted to get the best fluffy robe that I saw, but I knew I could do better. I asked my friend Mary, and she told me that she had a beautiful robe from Cariloha. Mary truly knows all of the best things to buy, so I decided to invest in the same organic robe. As soon as the robe arrived, I was so excited. First of all, there was no smell (a chemical smell) from the package. Always a good sign! The color was beautiful and soft, and when I put the robe on it had a comforting weight to it. Not too heavy, but substantial and high quality. It is breathable, not too bulky (which is flattering) and I look forward to wearing it every morning and night.
I’m pleased to report that after many washes, the color has stayed true, and the robe is just as soft as when it arrived. Jef and I have been saving to buy a piece of property so the less I buy, the more I save. I want every single item that I buy to be the best, so I only have to purchase it one time.
